A very belated congratulations to both of you on your marriage! And thank you for all of the goosebump moments each of you have provided over the years. What an amazing team you make. I just re-read Edith Ann My Life So Far this week and it still resonates with warmth and wisdom. The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe is still my favorite one person show of all times. I thought at one point (when I was very broke) that your other one woman shows were available on DVD. I would like to purchase them if they are, but have not been able to locate them. Did I imagine this? Anyway, may both of you continue to have the best lives you can imagine, and keep those goosebumps coming!

Lily - years ago I took a tour in Palm Springs -- and wished I had met you. Thank you so much for standing up FOR AND WITH all of us. You are incredible, and I just wanted to say - THANK YOU. You have always been an inspiration -- (Thank you Jane -- you both are incredible)

I just finished watching Grace & Frankie, I laughed , I cried. I lost the love of my life thirteen years ago. I know Allan would have loved this series as much as I do. Thank you for making me laugh again, and for making me see, I need to move on with my life.

Hi Lily I just wanted to tell you how fabulous you are in Grace and Frankie. I binged watched the first two seasons while sick and laughed so hard. I was little when 9 to 5 came out and I loved it then and love it more now. I also want to say how courageous and brilliant to talk and add humor to topics no one wants to talk about. Hugs and thanks for the laughs. ❤ Audrey

LILY, I LOVE your work. You are so down to Earth. Do you remember any of your time in Paducah? My grandmother used to babysit you. I wonder if you remember Alma Morehead. She was very funny and down to Earth like you.

Dear Lily, in the light of current events perhaps you could re-issue Edith Ann " The truth can be made up, if you know how "

Over 40 years ago and I still remember the laughs when I saw you perform at my college in Missouri-who else could make people laugh at smock! Enjoyed binge watching Frankie and Grace-you're the best. Thank you for decades of humor and fun.

Hi Lily and Jane, to this day, Search for Signs is still my favorite theatre experience I have ever seen. I saw the show 4 times and also own a copy of the movie and a well-worn copy of a documentary about the making of SFSOILITU. I'm writing to see if any, or all of your works will be released on Blu-ray. I'm especially in the making of documentary, as I find it fascinating. OK, enough rambling. See you again the next time you are in Chicago , or the nearby area. 🙂

Ms Tomlin, I want to thank you. I've been binge watching "Grace and Frankie". My marriage is ending after 35 years. I thought we were stable. I was wrong. It's been a year now since I first found out. Our divorce isn't final yet. Several scenes and emotions I've seen in the show were exactly where I was. I remember finding out about his girlfriend. I remember walking into the house for the first time after moving out and how I felt about what I saw. Watching "Grace and Frankie" has made me laugh and cry. I'm not as extreme a personality as either woman, but I felt every bit of the emotion (especially the hurt) you both showed. I'm 53 and now learning what it's like to be on my own. I was married at 17 so this is new to me. I moved out 6 months ago. Thank you (all of you) for making this show. I prefer this email to be seen by Ms Tomlin and not published in the guestbook if possible. I couldn't find another way to email her. Dina Holscher

Lily you're my inspiration. You and Jane Fonda are increasingly beautiful with age and I hope to see more Grace and Frankie. And by the way you give me hope I can one day marry whomever I choose. Here's to love, life and healthy memories. -Kara THE SINGER

You have brought me such great joy when watching you from "Laugh In" through the characters you've played in movies. My all time favorite was "The Search for Intelligent Life in the Universe". Some of my gal pals & I were fortunate enough to see you in this one-woman play in Los Angeles. The only problem was that the theatre was filled with so much non-stop laughter that we sometimes missed your next line. Thank you & Jane Wagner for giving me the opportunity to spend time with those characters. I'm looking forward to seeing you in your next production.

Hi Lily, Hope you will work on your autobiography while your memory is still sharp. It would be a great have the interesting stories of growing up in Detroit and developing your comedy craft in New York and Hollywood consolidated in a coffee table size book. Lots of pictures and a chronology of life events also. That would be a great addition to the library of entertainment history books.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing your time and talents all these years. It's been refreshing and hillarious, a splendid journey indeed. All my best for your new year, peace and good juju to you and yours. L

Happy New Year Lily, Is this a true quote [when asked about her complexion during her career at Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (1967)] "I've never had a pimple in my whole life - and that's the truth". How did you manage that or are you one of the fortunate few? We all wind up wrinkled though.

Jane's words, spoken through Lily, make me laugh, think and cause me to rethink some of my ideas and opinions. You two are an authentic team. I appreciate too that you are role models for other women both gay and straight. Thank you for being there for us and often leading the way in this confused and cofusing world.

So disappointed that I will not be able to be in my front row seat for your performance in Stuart, Fl. Feb. 6, 2017. Last time I saw you was in "Universe" in Louisville, KY. I was lucky enough to meet you backstage and share our common "Hillbilly Highway" upbringing. I told of my KY boy, who went to Detroit, then Ky to marry school marm, then Detroit to have kids, you, me.. You stood up, hugged me. Thrilled. Have to be in KY for sister's mastectomy and cannot see you in Stuart. So disappointed. Will be at sister's side for as long as it takes for her recovery. Break a leg in Stuart, FL.
