I'm watching the great Lily Tomlin on Youtube this evening. It reminds me of my favorite celebrity story. There will be name dropping however I will limit myself to one. Lily and I were sharing a dressing room back sometime in the mid '80s in CA. I think the theater was the Doolittle on Hollywood and Vine in, you guessed it, Hollywood. Now there is nothing strange about sharing a dressing room with the amazing Lily Tomlin. I mean one works in the theater and perhaps one gets lucky and actually WORKS. So, Lily and I shared this dressing room at a major theater in LA. Unfortunately, I was never able to speak to her at length or at any time interval whatsoever. It's not that she was rude, not at all, the women is a lovely and gracious lady. No, it was more of a temporal issue. Indeed, we did share a dressing room. However, I came in 6 months after her show Seach for Signs..... closed. Discuss.

Hi Lily, just wanted to say how much my husband and I are enjoying you on Grace and Frankie. We are almost peeing our pants laughing. You are wonderful in this series. We just love you. We love Jane also along with the whole group on the show. We are anxiously awaiting season three. We hope there are 20 seasons. I used to watch Laugh-In as a youngster and loved you in it. I also recently watched Grandma and you were great in it. If I saw you live I would give you a great big hug. will you be playing near Toronto anytime soon? You are an absolute treasure. Keep doing what you are doing. xo

You are my inspiration. I've only dreamed about standup/storytelling on stage. Even in the business of making dreams real I'm taking my own advice! Thank you for being so amazing.

Hello Lily Tomlin. I never forgot you...or Sesame Street, I admit its difficult to remember a show I was in briefly before I left for Southwest and Northwestern United States. I think I had a parasol. I was Raskol or "Raskolnikov." I like your web site! Lots of people loved you. Have a nice spring. Thanks.

Lily I've been a fan of you since I was a baby. You were in all my favorite shows, movies, etc. And you still are! I am writing today because I am making my nephew watch the magic school bus. Just wondering if they ever made a crazy remake of something if you would still be the frizz!? It'd be fun to see and as always educational. Good stuff. Again thank you for all of your work. Life wouldn't be right without you!

I realize that Kansas / Missouri are just fly over places (200 years ago you had to at least ride through to get to California and then back through to get home), but you have a fan or millions who would so much like to see you and Jane in a live show in Kansas City. I'd even pay New York / California prices to get my ticket. Come see us. I'll take you dinner. I've been in love with you and your work since "Laugh In." best of everything to you and Jane. Okay, Chicago would be close enough, too.

Lily on Grace and Frankie, you guys are fucking amazing. I thought Ellen kept me going till I found you. I mean the cast and crew and writers. Epic proportions. Do not stop. Fuck the system. I am a meager pissant actor/musician who is still beat beat beating because your work is original regardless of time and history. It taped my vein and kept my pulse tick ticking for another day. If you ever want a fool ass band to cover for an episode "gratis" it would be our pleasure. Keep burning. Good bless you all. A message to say this is why we and I am positive you do it. J

Thank you ! Lily Tomlin for all the laughs and tears (happy and sad) I am a woman (age 57) always looking for symbols representing the archetype woman, and you sure can tell the tails of wonderful women that don't fit the typical lady. Well, I am a fan because you keep your art artform interesting, inspiring for all of us over 20. I really liked Franky and Grace, If they were real I would be friends with them! Cheers and health to you miss Tomlin. Please excuse my Grammar (French & Algonquin) hope you get the message. All my respect, Chantal
