Lily,
I have a soon to be 59 year old daughter who absolutely adores you. She is such a fan of Grace and Frankie. She said yesterday, and I quote< "I would just to hang out with her". In June of 2017 she will turn 60. I would love to do something fantastic for her like meeting you...or at least, have a signed picture. She is such an unselfish person...always thinking of others before herself. What can we do for June 12, 2017? Thank you.
Thank you For the laughs on Grace and Frankie, I hope you continue for many years to come. I loved your passed movies as well. Keep up the great work!
Lily! We met through my bestie, Jo Anne Worley. And we had lunch together at The Magic Castle...
I wanted to get a message to you to tell you that your work on GRACE & FRANKIE, season 2 is devastatingly DELICIOUS. XOXO Todd
Thank you for all the work that you are doing! You are awesome and inspiring!!
Thank you, Lily for bringing Frankie into my life. I can't tell you how much I get her!
Last night my fiancé watched the opening episodes of Grace and Frankie, season 2. When Frankie married Robert and Saul, I turned to my fiancé and said, "That's the ceremony I want. Short sweet to the point. And it's what we need if we're gonna pull off this plan." Then I quickly added, "And how great would it be to have Lily Thomlin marry us?"
My fiancé Matt agreed.
So would you marry us?
Our wedding is July 9....at sunset ....a top a parking garage in Glendale CA. And it's a flash mob wedding. The authorities don't know about. We - meaning 60 of our friends- are just showing up to witness our nuptials. I think Frankie would approve.
And although I call him my fiancé, Matt is really my husband. Two years ago, on the same date, Matt and I were officially wed at the LA courthouse because a week later we were traveling abroad and wanted to be legal in case something happened overseas.
Of course this was done in secret as our friends would be upset were they not at our wedding so this ceremony in July is really for them and to celebrate their friendship. So you don't even need to be really ordained, just a superb actress pretending to marry us. Which you are.
After the flash mob we are taking our guests to see a movie (Pixar’s Finding Dory) and then to a board game parlor. You and Jane would have a blast with all us Bears. (A great deal of the wedding guests are gay hairy big men)
Oh I know it's a long shot, but lots of things are. I never thought I'd find love- but I did. I never thought two men could legally marry, but we can. I figured the odds might be in my favor that you'd say yes.
Either way, Frankie/Lily's spirit will be in attendance.
Lily- I'm a huge fan!!! Not only are you funny but I like the causes you support. How can I sign up to learn when you'll be near me for a show? I want to see you live so badly!!!

I just love you on Grace and Frankie, you are the best. I think you are me, it's so funny. Not that you are that person and who knows who you really are. And i am not her. Love the show, tootles.
My family always told me I was named after a phone operator my grandmother worked with in the City (NYC). A woman my grandmother hated, but my mom loved the name. This was 1969. I never questioned it until I was listening to a comedy station on satellite radio and one of your operator skits came on and I heard my name. My world momentarily stopped. My parents and grandparents are gone, so I will never know if I am named after a real person or a character. But I'd like to believe that my name carried a rich and unceasing sense of humor and joy, which came attached as a gift, to me. Someday, I may be lucky enough to find out where you found the name. But thank you, anyway!
LONGTIME FAN, FIRSTTIME CORRESPONDENT.
ENJOYING GRACE AND FRANKIE. HOWEVER, GIVEN WHAT I KNOW OF YOUR SOCIOPOLITICAL LEANINGS, YOU MAY WISH TO RECONSIDER THE PRODUCT PLACEMENT OF JORDAN WINES FROM IT AS ITS PROPRIETOR IS A RABID CONSERVATIVE WHOSE VIEWS HAVE BEEN WIDELY REPORTED IN CREDIBLE NEWS SOURCES.
I rewatched the first season of Frankie and Grace and just finished the second. I laughed and laughed and am just so impressed with the character you've created. Thank you for bringing so much joy to the world. I hope you come to perform near us soon (especially at Bard Avon or in Kingston, NY.
