In 1972 i was a freshman at Orange Glen High School in Escondido, CA. someone did this hysterical impersonation of you as a cheerleader at a pep assembly and I have followed you ever since! What were you doing in 1972? You continue to fill my heart with laughter. And laughter is good medicine. A dear director of mine Joe Watts echoed my sentiments adding she is a very dear person.
Grace and Frankie has been a godsend at this time .I was new to netflix so season 1-6 binged on endlessly.
Thankyou so much a truly talented, brilliantly funny lady .
Tell Martin Sheen we can see Ireland on a clear day .
Dear Ms Tomlin and Ms Wagner
I write to ask your permission to create a tune for your brilliant line “I refuse to be intimidated by reality any more....Collective Hunch .”
It gets more scientifically try every minute. Thank you for all your work. You inspire and crack us up. Blessings, Kate
You were my heroine growing up in the 70's. Because of you I watched Laugh-In non stop. I became a telephone operator in 1979 for Mountain Bell! "We don't care. We don't have to. we're the phone company." You are still my heroine, Thank you for Grace and Frankie and making me laugh for all these years.
Hey Ms. Tomlin, I know this is probably a long shot, but my moms 64th birthday is today and she loves your show Grace and Frankie. If you have a minute, I was wondering if you could send a video wishing her a Happy Birthday? Her name is Pam. I hope you are well and safe!?

I'm 29 and I'm totally striving to be Frankie one day. Thanks for the excellent role model. <3
You are so adorable and a brilliant actress! You made me such a great childhood as Ms. Frizzle, Janet (from The Kid in 2000) and made me smile again when I heard you last night as Toki in Ponyo. Thanks for all that you do! ❤️❤️❤️
I have been watching Grace & Frankie and love it! But cannot help but love your wardrobe. I think it makes all the sense in the wold for you to create a clothing line! It is just fabulous! If you do, please let me know!
Hello .. this year has so far been a bit rubbish! However my saving grace! Has been Grace and Frankie .. I’m now doing a re run for the second time since lockdown! And I want to say a heartfelt thank you for making a programme that is not only funny soft and thought provoking but it has truly helped keep me a bit of my sanity intact! It takes me to a happy place while the world is in such strife .and as my wee granddaughter says it will be better when this nasty wee bug goes away! . I hope this finds you all well .. wherever you are .. From the remote Highlands of Scotland X
Hi Lily! Thank you for so much joy you've added to my life over many years of your work. I'm currently enjoying Grace & Frankie, but we go way back to Laugh In. Be good to yourself!
Such a great actress !
Subtle, delicate ,so much going on behind the lines, breathing life to the unspoken...
Recently enjoyed "Grandma" movie...
I wish there is more of you in the following years...
My respects!
Hello. I just finished Season 3 of Grace and Frankie. So I had to find out your age because you move like a teenage! You're amazing!! But now after 3 episodes of 3:13 I have to start season 4 because I'm from Santa Fe and I want to see if you go there. That's because I live in Portland, Oregon now and miss my mom in New Mexico? As I write this Oregon is on fire. I'm wondering how you are doing? Fire safe? Vivid safe? Life safe? Thank you you have been my favorite actor for a very long time. Take care amazing human.
Hi, I wanted to say Happy Birthday to Lily. I met her at LaGuardia Airport circa 2000, I was a red jacket for Northwest Airlines and I noticed her standing by the doors on second floor. I asked her how she was doing and she said her driver wasn't there. We went downstairs to find him/her and had a nice little conversation while we waited. Lily is a lovely person.
Happy Birthday Lily
Happy 81st birthday, dear Lily. Life has gone crazy. You are still a hero, especially to me. Now my 3 yr old granddaughter gets to hear my stories about you as my mentor.
HappyBirthday Lily!!! My name is Julie Bradford and I Just wanted to send love and positive good wishes to you on your birthday! Throughout 2019 I was blessed to meet you at a few wonderful events: @the Tony Awards Viewing Gala, An a Evening of Classic Lily in BooneNC and WilmingtonNC, 2 Free Women @ Film at Lincoln Center, the Traverse City Film Festival and at an event for Voices for the Animals in LA. What an amazing year of being able to witness and celebrate you and Jane Wagner!! I said YES to all these events because I was drawn to You and your awe inspiring career: past and present! Drawn to your joyful, kind, beautiful presence! And blown away by your intelligence, your activism, your 50 year love story with Jane and Sister Boogie Woman!!! I found myself unable to speak eloquently or with much purpose once I was face to face with you (unfortunately) but I am so grateful for your willingness to stop and say hi to me. One super sweet moment for me was finding you in the alley after an event at the Traverse City Film Festival....you were already in your car but I saw Paul and I asked if I could say hello. I became emotional just being in your presence so you got out of your car and gave me a hug....even as I write this remembering that moment I begin to cry....I thank you for your kindness. It was there that Paul mentioned NewYork and the event at the Lincoln Center which I also was able to attend. I was on a personal ReturnToJoy tour for my life....following the flow of having unique and inspiring adventures out in the world! You were a big part of that year for me. Becoming aware to experience new places, people, history, organizations and events. You and Jane are beautiful and brilliant in many different realms and women to admire and look up to for so many reasons! My life has been so enriched by these past personal experiences as well as by studying your genius creations over the past several decades. I wish you well Lily....May this new year be blessed with much joy, good health, light, love and positive change. You are a beautiful human and I am forever grateful my path crossed with yours!! Love to you and Jane Ps I am originally from Nashville....my parents live there still but I now live up in Humboldt Co California.....if you ever need someone to play ping-pong with I would love to come down and play with you!!! I am also an organic gardener so if you and Jane need any assistance around your home, in your kitchen or if ever you need someone to run errands....I would drop anything I am doing to help you and Jane out.... Much love and gratitude, Julie:)
I doubt you remember but we met once in New York in 1985. We were introduced by Warren Burton who happened to be my brother's boyfriend. I was so amazed by your kindness and will never forget it. You took a picture of the three of us and I feel so honored to have met you.
I apologize that that this is so very morbid, but with everything going on with the world I hope it is understandable. This year is 20 yrs since my moms passing, we used to watch you and my mom was a huge fan. She said I was Edith Ann when I was a kid and she loved the character and you. I know you don't personally read these, but I'm struggling atm and you mean so very much to me, even though we will never meet. I had a very traumatic childhood and have PTSD and I may have cancer and there are so few happy memories for me to hold onto, but I remember watching your specials and movies with my mom and my moms laughter and being truly truly happy. Thank you so, so, so, very much. I hope this makes sense because I'm writing while crying.
HELLO LILY HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR TO MORROW
